The Python wrapper for GPSBabel experienced several needed changes for Cache901, and also some suggested changes from other users. However, until the Cache901 code was ready to release version 0.4, we could not release Python GPSBabel 0.8. Packaging is now underway for Cache901 0.4, so Python GPSBabel 0.8 is now released to the world.

Changes include:

• Documentation changes
• Backwards incompatible API changes
• Cross platform compatibility has now been tested on Windows and Linux, and confirmed to work. Unable to test sending to an attached GPS on OSX, as I do not have a working USB serial adapter for the old OSX machine I have right now. Other functionality appears to work properly, though.
